Frequently Asked Questions

What it costs, who you can bring in, how versions work and where your music is kept.

Billing

How much does it cost?

Four plans. Free costs nothing, forever — 10 GB of encrypted storage, one member, unlimited projects, tracks and versions, no credit card. Crew is $12 per workspace per month with 100 GB and 5 members. Studio is $39 per workspace per month with 500 GB and 10 members. Label is custom pricing with unlimited workspaces, custom storage and a dedicated account manager. Storage and team size are the only differences — projects, tracks and versions are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Every account starts on Free; upgrading happens in one click from the app.

Do I pay per person?

No. You pay for the workspace, not per seat. Crew is $12 a month and covers five members; Studio is $39 a month and covers ten. Past the included count an extra member is $6 a month, so a five-person crew pays $12 in total rather than five times a per-user price. External collaborators — the vocalist, the mixer, the featured artist you invite to a single track — are unlimited and free on every plan, including the free one, and never count toward your member total.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period, and you can always export your files before canceling.

Collaboration

What's the difference between a team member and a collaborator?

Team members belong to your workspace and see all its projects and tracks according to their role (Owner, Admin or User). Collaborators are invited to specific tracks only — a vocalist, a mixer or a featured artist sees exactly the track they work on and nothing else. That is how you work with people outside your team without exposing the whole workspace. Members are the only headcount your plan counts: collaborators are unlimited and free on every plan, the free one included.

Does my collaborator need a SoundisiaK account?

To work on a track, yes — a free account, created in under 30 seconds with no credit card. To simply listen, no: a shareable link gives labels, managers and clients a secure URL to one version of a track that works without an account, with an optional password. It expires 30 days after you create it, counts its views, plays and full listens, and you can delete it at any time to take its page down.

Getting started

How does everyone know which mix is the current one?

Every time you upload a new version of a track it is automatically numbered, dated and stored, and exactly one version per track is marked as the main one — visible to everyone who can see the track, so your vocalist and your mixer know which one to work on without asking. You can add a description to each version, download any of them as a ZIP, and nothing is ever overwritten: the whole history stays.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. SoundisiaK Studio is a web application that works in any browser on desktop, tablet and mobile, and the web app is fully responsive.

Files & security

Which audio formats and DAWs are supported?

Upload your audio as WAV: it plays in lossless in the browser, and any version downloads as WAV, FLAC or MP3. Alongside the audio you can upload project files from any DAW — Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, FL Studio and the rest — and your collaborators download the full session.

Is my music secure, and where is it stored?

Files are encrypted at rest and in transit and stored on AWS infrastructure in the US (us-east-1 region) with high availability and redundancy. You control who has access: shared links can carry a password, expire 30 days after their creation, and can be deleted at any time.
